I was never the type to get a tattoo. I never had an earring or anything like that. I do have a motto and that has always been "It's O.K." I wrote it everywhere and tried to live by it. No matter what happens in life just remember "It's O.K." I thought about getting a tattoo many times but never did. One year after my son Tyler died I decided to get it done. May 10,1999. I figured it would be a good day to do it. It would remind me of my motto each day and sort of a memorial to Tyler. I designed it and found a shop to do it. The first time faded out pretty quick so I had another place redo it about a year later while I was in Biloxi visiting Damion.
